WHAT DRIVES YOU? SUBARU FORESTER TV AD

If there’s one thing the Subaru Forester was built for, it’s adventure - come rain, shine, or even snow! And our latest film and photoshoot in the stunning landscapes of North Wales proved exactly that.

Earlier this year, the team set off for Beddgelert, a location as rugged as it is beautiful. The days leading up to the shoot were nothing short of extreme - torrential rain, howling winds, and even a dusting of snow. The kind of weather that makes you question stepping outside, let alone diving into open water.

But then, as if the Subaru Forester itself had summoned the perfect conditions, shoot day arrived with glorious sunshine! The scene was set, the mountains stood tall against the blue sky, and our incredible open-water swimmer, Matilda, was ready to take on the challenge.

The conditions were cold - really cold. The lake was a brisk 5 degrees, making Matilda’s leap into the water all the more impressive.

Much of the shoot was carried out using an AR rig, allowing us to maintain the intimacy of the moment with Matilda, capturing her emotions and determination in a way that felt raw and immersive.

From this incredible shoot, we created two TV ads - a 30-second and a 20-second version, which both aired on Sky. Alongside these, we also developed versions for online, ensuring the adventure reaches audiences everywhere. The stills are being used across a wide range of media, tying everything together for one seamless campaign.

The shoot was a fun one, set in a truly breathtaking location. And to top it all off, our Art Director, David, and DIT, Peter, even managed a “light run” up and down Snowdon before we travelled home - because what’s a trip to North Wales without a little extra adventure?
