ENGAGING COMMUNITIES WITH ENGIE UK’S AD ANIMATION

ENGIE UK approached us to create a 3D animation to explain the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) process in a way that was both visually engaging and easy to understand. The animation needed to educate the public, address common concerns, and dispel misconceptions about AD (such as odours, pollution, and its environmental impact) while showcasing its benefits for renewable energy and agriculture.

We worked closely with ENGIE UK to refine their initial script, ensuring it was clear, concise, and resonated with local communities. Supported by Generative AI tools, we enhanced the messaging, simplifying complex concepts while integrating myth-busting content that addressed common concerns. This ensured the script not only explained the AD process but also built trust and understanding among the audience.

For the animation’s voiceover, we leveraged an AI-generated voice, which offered professional-quality narration while allowing us to make quick adjustments during production. The flexibility of the AI voiceover enabled us to streamline the workflow, reduce costs, and deliver a polished result that matched the tone and clarity of the visuals.

The final animation uses engaging 3D visuals to demonstrate how feedstock is transformed into renewable energy and biofertilizer, highlighting the positive impact of AD on local communities and the environment. It also addresses key myths about AD, helping to reassure and inform viewers about the process. By incorporating AI at every stage—script development, voiceover production, and beyond, we delivered an efficient, high-quality solution that met the client’s goals, budget, and most importantly, exceeded expectations.

This project highlights how the integration of advanced AI tools with expert animation can make complex concepts relatable and impactful, helping organisations like ENGIE UK communicate effectively with their audiences.
