Meet The Team Bios …
Lauren Campbell
Lauren joined Junction Eleven in 2022 after looking for a new career path. She works as a Production Assistant and supports creative resource and trafficking - for both J11 and our parent company, Cogent.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys going to the theatre to see musicals, studying crystals and watching F1.
If Lauren could be best friends with a celebrity, she would choose Adam Sandler.
Daniel Du Cros
Daniel joined J11 in 2007, after studying photography at Solihull College and Birmingham City University. He’s shot for numerous clients such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Prodrive and MG. It’s not all automotive however, as over the last 15 years he’s photographed everything, including kitchen sinks!
Spare time is in short supply thanks to a tireless 2 year old at home, however if he’s not spending it cleaning whichever classic car he currently owns, he’ll be off with the family, camping somewhere by the sea.
Robert Duncombe
Robert (aka Bob) is one of J11’s in-house Photographers. Bob joined the J11 team back in 2017 and since he’s shot for many of our client’s – including the likes of Rolls Royce, Blenheim Palace, Absolute Collagen and Solid Sate Logic… to name a few.
He has an ever-growing collection of vintage tractors and a huge passion for farming. So much so that he spends much of his time outside of work photographing (you guessed it) tractors! 🚜 📷
Recently Robert went to see Derren Brown and ended up being hypnotised on stage, spending much of the show on a floating chair ✨💺✨
IAN GATHARD
A ball of creative energy who loves problem solving, Pepsi Max and his pet Chihuahua, Bonnie (a regular crew member on J11 shoots).
Ian joined J11 as Managing Director just over 4 years ago and brought with him a social first approach to content creation and vast experience in shoot production. He’s since gone on to become Group CEO.
The only good thing to come out of lockdown was Ian’s hair. Like many of us he started off with a DIY top knot, but unlike most of us he persevered and now has a style that Thor, a Viking…or even Bon Jovi would be proud of!
We asked Ian if he wanted to add anything to his bio. His response “just mention that the J11 team are fu*#ing awesome and I love working at the best creative studio in the U.K”
David Goode
David joined the business as a Senior Motion Designer in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience from working with clients such as Jaguar Land Rover, Kawasaki, the European Space Agency and Nintendo. Since joining J11 he has worked on an array of animation projects and has been charged with trialling new technologies to add to our tool kit.
In his spare time he watches films, tries to grow his record collection and sees as many live bands as he can.
After falling in love with Herbie Goes Bananas as a kid, David realised his childhood dream of owning a VW Beetle when he bought one as his first car.
Peter Hackett
Peter Hackett graduated in 2018 with a degree in Film Production and Cinematography. He then undertook several freelance positions as a Videographer and Photographer before joining the J11 team as a Junior Content Creator in 2021.
During the last year he’s shot and edited content for clients such as M&B, MINI, ALDO, HAAS F1 and Virgin Red.
In his spare time, you’ll find him either running marathons, up a mountain, or playing with his pet dog (and J11 regular), Winston 😊
If Peter could spend the day with any famous person, he’d spend the day playing tennis with Roger Federer.
Our Senior Producer Lucy has been producing shoots for over 20 years, 10 of those have been spent here with us at Junction Eleven. Over the years she’s helped make a tonne of wonderful content for various clients and media.
Outside of work she is found running around with/after her toddler, forever trying to find ‘ just a bit of peace and quiet’!
Lucy’s guilty pleasure is watching really terrible crime dramas.
Lucy Mc Dermott
Tom Muirhead
Our Studio Manager, Tom, started his career as a Studio Assistant back in 2012 and he’s gone on to establish himself as one of the most essential cogs in the Junction Eleven machine*⚙️
Tom, who enjoys windsurfing, racing cars and long walks on the beach, is looking for a likeminded soul to share the approaching long cold winter nights with... 🤔

Jez Nicholson
Jez joined us as Production Account Manager in 2021 after several years working at agencies in London. She has worked with a variety of clients so far- from MINI and Halfords to Energym. Outside of work you can usually find her napping or discussing her love for Harry Styles.
Jez has admitted to spending far too much money on iced oat lattes, a habit she's hoping (but rather unlikely) to kick this year.
Kitty Norwell
Following five years in Oxfam’s comms team, Kitty joined J11 as Production Account Manager in 2021. In 2023 she became a Producer.
Since joining us she’s worked with some of our biggest automotive clients, including McLaren, Jaguar and Prodrive. She also paints and shoots weddings in her personal time, when she’s not exploring Cornwall in her campervan Frida. 🎨 📷 🚌
In 2018 Kitty cycled from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in nine days. She hasn’t been on her bike since.
Joel O’Neil
Joel started at J11 as a freelance Studio Assistant in 2020.
Our Studio Manager Tom was so in awe of his hard-working nature, warm personality and great hair that he had no choice but to make him full time after merely a few months 🥳
Simon Reeve
Simon is part of the furniture at J11 - he’s been at the Studios for 11 years! Put into context, that’s equivalent to a full solar cycle or the average life expectancy of a new washing machine ☀️🧼
He heads up the business unit and is responsible for building the offer for the generation of new business opportunities, together with the development and retention of over a hundred clients!
Home life with his 3 daughters is just as busy, but when time allows, he loves nothing more than watching his beloved Manchester United and hanging out in the various bunkers at his local golf course ⚽🏌️♂️
Random Fact: His favourite place to visit is The Amalfi Coast in Italy 🇮🇹🍕
Sarah Sewell
Sarah is a long-standing member of the team at J11.
As Senior Account Manager, she loves working on all the different projects that come in. Variety is the spice of life! When she’s not at work she is kept on her toes by her two young boys and loves spending time with her family – she actually comes to work for a rest!
Sarah once spent 6 hours in a glass box for an art installation as part of her Degree in Theatre Studies.
Sarah Bere
Introducing Sarah, our Business Development Manager and our very own super organised Monica Gellar!
She joined us in 2023 following circa 20 years in sales and business development roles for the events and hospitality industry. During this time, she helped venues to connect with new clients and planned both corporate and private events.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys the great outdoors, whether running or walking, and has a love for excellent food, drink and company. Needless to say that she fits in very well here! 😉
Random Fact….In 2017, Sarah completed a 103Km overnight walk from London to Oxford in aid of the British Heart Foundation charity.
